How is the best way to determine value of a domain name?

Public Comments

  1. Sell or buy it. The value is what you get or give for it.
  2. Try to sell it.
  3. Solve for domain.
  4. It depends on several factors: 1. Length (i.e.: a1.com vs. eat-at-joes-on-tuesdays.com) 2. Domain Extension (i.e.: .com, .net, .tv, etc.) 3. Traffic (10,000+ hits per month is considered "good" traffic) 4. Is the site Live? If yes, then the domain is bvalued at more.) 5. Word relavence (khsgsfsfsdlk.com is worthless. Apple.com is very valuable.) In addition to these factors, the personal value should also be considered. For example, bobcraven.com is really only valuable to Bob Craven, but acme.com is valuable to every company with the name "acme."
