HOW do you determine a VALUE for a domain name to SELL?

how can you tell what the buyer is willing to settle on to pay for it? thanks

  1. value = shortness (domains with 4 or less words are really hard to find ) + easiness to be pronounced + easiness to be remembered (is it a generic word such as paints.com or derived word such as paints-o-rama.com ) + easiness to be written without misspelling it + relation to the business (quickyquick.com is more valuable for the quick delivery service compared to its value for a classy restaurant) the ultimate measurement for the value is the price -- there is a monetary threshold above which it becomes more efficient to buy the second best domain offer.
