Which is the best place to buy a website/ domain/ domain name?

I want to set up my own website but do not know which is the best place to buy a domain name or a website address. Sure i tried Godaddy.com but its damn expensive to get even the basic stuff. Could you pls tellme which could be a cheaper option tu buy from and also, what better is it to buy from a known brand like Godaddy.com rather than buying from anyone else who gives a cheaper price? (considering both give same time limit for registration) Thank You

1. GoDaddy isn;t a good domain place to buy from. You should try searching Google for places, instead. You can use a free domain to start out with. Go to freewebs.com, it'll be good practice.

4. I would suggest www.serversea.com they haave nice control panel for hosting sites. may be domain registration u can do at godaddy.com , but dont try to host there. Their hosting capabilities are very less.
