But as odd as it may seem, I'd rather have MyFullName.com instead of just MySurname.com because it would be harder for people to find me! And it may look less formal. I need help.....? I make custom made candles & want to make a website to sell them & get the word out. But I want a "totally free" website for now to get the word out about my candles. I also want to get a domain name but I want it to be either free or real cheap. I have searched the web & all the "free" websites & "free" domain names are no help. Some want credit card info. Why they need this when it's suppose to be free makes me go "HMM". Don't make a bit of sense to me. Please help. I registered a domain name that has now expired and want to get it back but on a different site. Can i do this Through my journalism program we opened an account at ixwebhosting and registered 2 domain names. They expired in december but i can renew the herchenrother.com one for free on the original account. My goal for the domain to be controlled by Neil Herchenrother on a seperate account than the one we have on ixwebhosting. is it possible to transfer this if i renew it? When googled a company called e3auctions is auctioning it off but i have 75 days before they can truly sell it.

Guide to setting up a website for a podcast - total beginner? I'm looking (in the future) to set up a website to put an audio drama podcast on. It'd probably only have to have one page. Ideally it'd have an illustration on it (one I've drawn, scanned and uploaded), some text about the podcast and links for people to download (free) probably monthly episodes. I've heard that libsyn is great for handling the podcasting part. Thing is, I have no idea whatsoever about the rest of it or how it fits together. I've looked at supposedly 'easy' how-to guides, but what I really don't understand is: I'd like a personalised domain name. I know where to go to register one of these, but does that name then work if I set up a website with a company who didn't sell me the domain name? Places like Godaddy then offer websites, but does that then work with lisbyn? Is that something else entirely? I am a total beginner, UK based & have no webwriting software on my pc, so the simpler the better. I don't have a big budget. Links/advice'd be great :-)
