How can I get domain names with cash parking into search engines? I have about 10 domain names with excellent terms that would get a lot of hits, but they are all currently 'cash parked' and they don't show up in search engine searches. I've tried to access them that way in fact and they don't show up even though a couple have been around for over a year. Is there a way to get them these parked domains populated in search engines? I've heard most search engines filter them out. Geez, so far that's a good answer, but what's a mini-site?
SEO - Search Enginge Optimization Question - Multiple Domain Names? We are thinking about having several different domain names for the same website e.g. let's pretend I have a site called www.bestdoors.com and I would also like to access through the following urls french-door.net and internaldoor.com. The question is, is there any problem from the search engines perspective in having several domain names for the same website? We would not like to drop SEO ranking.
SEO - Search Engine Optimization Question - Domain Names? This is a follow-up question to my previous question which I have listed below: e.g. let's pretend I have a site called www.bestdoors.com and I would also like to access through the following urls french-door.net and internaldoor.com Here is my question: What about having different domain names as domain alias? What is better for SEO, redirect of domain alias? In case we redirect the domains to a specific page in the site and change the page title and metatags to suit the url (in this case internal doors or french door), will this be better SEO wise than domain alias? Hope that makes sense. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

what is "p8.hostingprod.com/@" and how did it become a prefix to my domain name in google search? my domain (as I registered it) had a page rank of 3 until a few weeks ago. Not great but okay for a four/five month old website, and at least we were showing up on page one or two for many of our targeted key words. then somehow "p8.hostingprod.com/@" became a prefix on my domain which dropped us to a page rank of zero. very frustrating to say the least. now we are off the radar screen for google search. our domain is registered with Yahoo. i could not find a soul there that knows what to do about it. i don't have a clue how to contact google for assist. any ideas?
Why does GoDaddy not allow backordering of some domain names? When searching for domain names through GoDaddy, most of the time if the domain is already taken, you will have an option to backorder it. However, occasionally, it will have an "X" over the domain and will not allow any backordering. What is the reasoning behind this? What causes a domain name to not be backordered? (example: type in jump.com)

Does domain redirection help the search engine ranking? Dear yahoo users. We have over 15 domain names not hosted yet. Does hosting them and redirecting to point to our main domain would help with improving the ranking of our website? Is it safe practice with the search engines? We would highly appreciate any help in this connection. You can contact via email or yahoo messenger. Blessings Bishop Salamat Khokhar
Domain search by contact/personal name? Hi, :) I think I already asked this a while back but I wanted some other answers too, from more people. :D There are of course these WHOIS databases, where you can look up a domain owner's personal information, etc... Is it possible, anywhere on the web, to do it in reverse, and look up a domain name by the contact address? It would be like a lookup to see what domains a certain person owns, and their contact addresses, etc. Is this kind of thing in existence? Anywhere at all on the web? Can you be absolutely certain? If there is somewhere, could you please tell me where it is? This isn't for me to stalk someone, it's me being stalked by someone else and i'm worried they could find me via my domains. Thanks :o)
How can NAME.COM LLC be stopped from stealing unique domain names? I recently used name.com to search for the registration status for a unique domain name that I wanted to register. Two days later name.com is now the registrant of that domain name. I have searched for other instances of this and it seems that name.com has made this a profitable regular practice.
Safe Way to Look up Available Domain Names? After having two domains snatched by godaddy.com , I am wondering if there is an safe way to search for available domain names? Also, is there a way to search for multiple domain names rather than one at a time?
Domain Names? I am thinking of buying some domain names with a view to selling them at a later date in order to make some profit. I am completely new to this sort of thing, so can you tell me if it is just a case of registering a domain name with the prefixes .com, .co.uk, .net, etc, and keeping them for a while then sell them on, or is there a lot more consideration to be given to this i.e. web hosting and putting the domain name on search engines etc? Thanks
Domain names including certain term? This has been asked before by someone else, but the answer given didn't solve my query. Would it be possible to search for a certain term, and recieve a list of all the registered domains including that search term? For example, if this were possible, I might type in "happy" and recieve a list of domain names that include the search term "happy". Is this a reality? And would it include all domain extensions if it were possible? Thanks. :-)
What is the solution for search engine optimizing multiple domains from the same IP? I'm optimizing a site which have multiple domain names hosting from the same IP for different languages. Now the other domain name is redirecting to the main domain name. I want to optimize all domains for search engines. Beside the main domain, other domains are not indexed by the search engines yet. What sort of extra task to be made to index all the domains from the same IP address?

Does "Posterwall.com" domain name work for a career/work/employment/job-search website.? This question is best answered by a native US English speaking person. I am setting up a career/work/employment/ job-search website and am considering using the domain name posterwall.com. Good domains are hard to come by. Question is what you think about when you hear "Posterwall.com". The idea is that Posterwall.com can refer to a wall where "Help wanted" and "Need job" notes are posted, like in a public requitement office etc. But if Posterwall.com just sounds weird to native US English speakers, off the mark, strange and definitely not appropriate for such I site I would like to much know it before I buy the domain name. So what do you think of the domain posterwall.com for a job search site site? Thanks. There is nothing on this site now but the URL will look like this: http://www.posterwall.com
Search engine optimization?Domain Age in seo terms? Hello guys I have little confusion about seo optimization. My question is that suppose a domain name that is 14 year old has 6000 links (check by typing link:www.domain.com). On the other side there is a site that is 8 year old and has 3000 links. Which domain will come top in the search assume that they both are optimized for the keywords. How big of role does domain age play when it comes to seo?
